Charity for the Holidays

A friend of mine told me about the Seamen's Church Fund during the Sheep & Wool Festival this year. She said it was a great way to work up yarn in your stash and do some good. The hats/scarves go to the seamen during Christmas. So I talked my mom into knitting the black/white/grey scarf - I think she did a fantastic job. I made a watchap to go with it but didn't photograph it :(. I did a basketweave crochet stitch for the scarf and a watchcap. I loved the watchcap pattern so much I've decided to make the same for pretty much every male that's getting a cap from me this year. Sorry guys - find something that works, I gotta stick with it.

How long did this take? I finally joined Ravelry.com. My username is KFWatson because I couldn't think of anything more creative on the fly. Oh well. I have always been more interesting than my name.
